Millie the Model 1965

Millie the Model is known as Marvel's longest running humor comic book. What isn't as well know is that for a few years in the mid sixties she was also a romance comic book. In her humor phase she didn't have a letters page. However, in her romance phase she did and this is the letterhead from that letters page.

Betty and Me 1971

Here is a groovy looking letters page from Betty and Me in 1971. This was more like Dear Abby as it was an advice column for little girls.

Archie at RIverdale High 1983

Sometime earlier I posted here the letter page letterhead to Archie Comic News. I stated how it never changed in the 60's and 70's. I actually thought that it was that way even in the 80's but I didn't post it as by that time I rarely read Archie in the 80's. Well my thought was wrong. I recently came across this letter page from Archie at Riverdale High from 1983. It was a plesant surprise to see that the letterhead had changed by that time.

The Brave and The Bold 1968

Here is the second letters page for the Brave and the Bold from issue #80. They wound up keeping most of the art but still tried another one. Come back tomorrow to get a look at that art.

The Brave and The Bold 1968

Here is the very first letters page to one of my favorite team-up books, The Brave and the Bold. If you read the letters you can see the fans were happy to hear that the book was finally getting a letters page. Come back tomorrow to see the first original letterhead art for the page.

Ghost Rider 1967

This was the first Ghost Rider. A western where the hero only pretended to be a ghost. This was the letterhead to the letter page of his short lived series. Above it that year they used their characters to promote the Merry Marvel Marching Society membership kits.
